Looking for a dark and dreamy fitted bedroom?

Are you bored of playing it safe in your bedroom? If magnolia doesn’t call your name anymore then you’re not along. We’ve been noticing the move from bright and light fitted bedrooms to dark, dreamy and decadent tones. Here at Queenline Fitted Bedroom Showroom North West, we like to keep in the loop when it comes to interior design trends so we can pass them on to you.

Dark, dreamy fitted bedrooms

Dark blues and greens give off a boutique feel and can be perfect as a feature colour. You don’t need to paint every single wall the same colour, but one darker wall offset with lighter walls works perfectly.

Accessories are really what make a bedroom your own. Bright orange really pops against a dark green, with brassy tones glowing when put with a dark green.

If you’re more a fan of autumnal colours, look into mix and matching deep red tones to create a sensuous bedroom feel. This colour palette is perfect for a cosy and cocooned feeling.

However, if you want to go to the complete end of the colour spectrum and you’re looking to create a black bedroom, then you don’t need to worry about clashing tones. Practically every colour scheme would go alongside black. Metallics or cream shine the brightest against the black backdrop. But if you think black is just a step too far then go a few shades down from black and look at charcoal grey shades.

Of course your bedroom is exactly that, your bedroom! It’s a room in the house that you should tailor exactly to your tastes. If you create a bedroom that you feel comfortable in, you’re going to be more relaxed and you’re going to sleep better.
